Photography Competition Categories
Mangrove Cell - Maharashtra Forest Department, Coastal Conservation Foundation and WWF-India brings you a photography competition. Coastwise photography awards attempt to make lesser known ecosystems more visible. For the ease of participation, we have divided the contest into four categories. Please go through them, and then head to the guidelines at Submit.
Portraits
A photograph that showcases specific marine flora or fauna.
Habitat
 A photograph that depicts the natural habitat or environment of a place (of any size - expansive or tiny). Entries to this category may showcase particular creatures, but should emphasize strongly on their environment.
Creative & Fine Art
A photograph that expresses a vision, or an idea of the photographer, depicting beauty or meaningfulness, using photography as a medium.
Anthropocene
 A photograph that shows the impact – negative or adaptive - caused by human intervention.
